CELEBRATING CONSTITUTION DAY

September 17th, Constitution Day, is fast approaching. On this day, all American citizens should reflect on the health and well-being of our Constitution.

The Constitution of the United States and our God-given rights that this historical document guarantees to every American citizen are being deliberately denigrated and feloniously ignored by those we have elected to protect the Constitution and have sworn an oath to do so.

Our Constitution is being blatantly attacked by elements of our federal government and their elitist supporters, who are attempting to eliminate our Constitution under the guise that it is no longer relevant and does not reflect modern-day needs.

We are systematically and openly being stripped of our right to self-determination, religious freedoms, and our right to keep and bear Arms without any infringement by the government.

The federal government and many of our states are currently being led by radical politicians who are shamelessly assaulting and eroding our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights.

These hostile governing entities are passing unconstitutional executive orders and laws attempting to restrict our rights, slowly but systematically, under the 1st and 2nd Amendments to the Constitution.

Far too many American citizens and political leaders have forgotten that the sovereign States created the federal government to provide limited functions. It was not the federal government that created several states.

The 10th Amendment to the Constitution recognizes the sovereignty of the States by clarifying that “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

This fact is hardly recognizable, given a power-hungry federal bureaucracy's mass takeover of states' rights and responsibilities.

The Constitution, which is the foundation under which the laws of the United States are formulated, is continuously being diluted by radical Supreme Court Justices. These Justices constantly legislate from the bench in violation of the separation of power as articulated in Articles I, II, and III of the Constitution.

Those in the highest leadership positions are openly violating Section 8 of Article I, which charges the federal government with the responsibility of providing for the common defense of our country and, by extension, the security of our borders.

We are being invaded through our open southern border by millions of illegal immigrants, including unknown numbers of terrorists, human traffickers, M-13 murders, and drug smugglers—drugs that are killing tens of thousands of young American citizens.

The federal government is spending enormous amounts of money on the well-being of illegal immigrants—expenditures not authorized to the federal government as articulated in the 10th Amendment to the Constitution. At the same time, our veterans and poor, as well as needy senior citizens, are ignored.

It is far past time for all citizens to become actively involved in the governing of our Nation by volunteering a small portion of their time to support the activities and promotion of the Republican Party and to Convene a "Convention of States" to stop the radical elements of our government from their determined path to destroy our Constitution and our Constitutional Republic.

Constitution Day is an ideal time to begin becoming more actively involved with the governance of our Republic and the convening of a Convention of States to rein in a government that governs beyond the people's consent.

It is time to volunteer time during the upcoming crucial elections to ensure that we have fair and honest elections and for the Republican Party to take control and oust a governing regime that governs beyond the people's consent.

This is the time to actively volunteer to help convene a Convention of States to pass amendments to the Constitution, rein in our out-of-control federal government, and obtain the convening of a convention.

This goal can only be achieved if we all begin volunteering some amount of time to support the Republican Party's success in the upcoming elections and to repeatedly call and write to our state representatives and senators demanding that they support the passage of a resolution to convene a state convention.

We can stop the erosion of our Constitution and save our Constitutional Republic, but only if we all become engaged and make it crystal clear to those sworn to represent “We The People” that we have had enough and demand they act accordingly.
