I am a constitutional conservative because it is a philosophy that embodies the principles of limited government, individual liberty, and the rule of law. It is a philosophy that encourages a return to the core values outlined by the Founding Fathers, as expressed in the United States Constitution. It is a philosophy that embodies a deep love of country and God, and a willingness to fight for this philosophy, even at the cost of my life.

I firmly believe that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land. I support originalism, a judicial philosophy that interprets the Constitution based on its original meaning rather than adapting it to modern views. I do not believe that the Constitution should be construed to change over time, but should be understood in the context in which it was written. This involves interpreting it as its authors intended.

I strongly support federalism, which promotes the distribution of power rather than centralizing it in the federal government. For instance, states like California and Texas have the constitutional right, as sovereign states, to address issues such as climate change and education in their unique ways, whether I agree with their views or not.
The Importance of Individual Liberty

As a constitutional conservative, I will argue that rights such as freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and the right to privacy are God-given rights, not rights granted by the government. A clear example is the First Amendment, which protects freedom of expression and allows all legal citizens to voice their opinions without fear of punishment.
In an era where government overreach threatens personal freedoms, I am deeply concerned about government restrictions on individual rights; therefore, I believe it is vital that I pro-actively support a limited government which strictly adheres to constitutional principles to ensure that all legal citizens can freely express themselves, pursue happiness, and make personal choices without undue government interference.
Economic Principles of Constitutional Conservatism
I strongly support and believe in the principles of a free market, where competition and entrepreneurship flourish with minimal government interference, as they are crucial for growth and innovation.

I am a strong supporter of fiscal responsibility, which involves maintaining balanced budgets and reducing government debt. Over the past decade, the national debt has increased to over $37 trillion, serving as a stark reminder of the importance of fiscal discipline. By advocating for a government that lives within its means, I promote a more stable economic environment that can support future generations.
The Role of Tradition and Culture

Beyond governance and economics, as a constitutional conservative, I value our American traditions and cultural values, which hold that lessons from history, along with the preservation of cultural institutions such as family and religion, help maintain social stability. I understand that family structures are crucial to community cohesion and the development of positive behavioral norms among young people.
This respect for tradition leads to a cautious approach to change, ensuring that social evolution does not erode established norms that have historically fostered liberty and justice. By valuing the past, I believe society can navigate future changes while remaining rooted in its foundational principles.
Engaging in Civic Duty

As a constitutional conservative, I firmly believe that active civic involvement is crucial for maintaining a constitutional republic. Citizens participating in the political process through voting, volunteering, involvement with political parties, community engagement, or advocacy are vital to the preservation of our Constitutional Republic.
In the political arena, I believe that to express that one is a Centrist or Moderate is to state that one has no firm belief in our Republic and the Constitution as written and envisioned by our Founding Fathers. Either you strongly believe in and support our country and our Constitution, or you do not. There is no middle ground embedded in our Constitution.

As a conservative, I am deeply concerned about the erosion of personal freedoms and the increasing overreach of our judicial system and its failing responsibility to impose blind justice and ensure that the citizens of this nation are protected and safe from those who would do harm to them and our country.
Recent examples that justify such concern are District Judges who have determined that they are justified in imposing nationwide injunctions on Presidential Executive Orders because such orders do not align with their political ideology. This is despite the Supreme Court ruling that District Judges do not have such authority and the danger their decisions pose to the legal citizens of this nation.
Moving Forward with Constitutional Conservatism

Being a constitutional conservative means supporting limited government, individual liberty, and respect for tradition and culture. These principles are crucial for building a fair and thriving society. As we navigate our rapidly changing world, it becomes increasingly important to uphold these core values.
By advocating for these principles, I believe that individuals can help foster a dialogue that encourages thoughtful governance and common-sense social progress. Furthermore, I believe that understanding and embracing constitutional conservatism can lead to a future rooted in the timeless ideals that have shaped America, where liberty, justice, and the rule of law will flourish for generations to come.
