What Terry & Tiffany Will Bring To The Board of Commissioners

Terry Ramey and Tiffany Collins are among the most energetic and principled people in Haywood County. The residents of Haywood County deserve the kind of representation they are both ready to provide! Unlike the current Board of Commissioners, these two individuals will not sit back and accept the closed-door, secret governance that taxpayers in Haywood County are currently funding.

The current makeup of the Board of Commissioners has, in my opinion, only one Commissioner who truly has the strength of their convictions, who consistently demonstrates their leadership through action, and who is willing to challenge questionable expenditures, policies, and contracts that do not serve or are not in the best interest of the residents of Haywood County. That individual is Terry Ramey.

However, Terry is only one voice and one vote on the Board. When questionable issues are brought to the Board for consideration, there is little chance that Terry's one voice and one vote will be heeded by the other four members, who seem quick to approve most any requests put before them.

This is where Tiffany Collins steps in. Unlike the other Board members, I believe that she and Terry are genuine MAGA conservatives who will work together to restore honor, integrity, and practical common-sense representation for the residents of Haywood County. Terry Ramey and Tiffany Collins are two individuals who will not demand respect because they are Commissioners, nor will they refer to themselves as "leaders," because of their positions on the Board of Commissioners. These are two individuals who will take common-sense actions in service to the residents of Haywood County and earn the respect and recognition of county residents as genuine community leaders.

Working as a team, Terry and Tiffany have the energy, courage, and conviction to challenge the other members, who will be forced to recognize that their base has been significantly diminished and, if they want support from the county residents, they will need to listen to and incorporate Terry’s and Tiffany’s concerns on behalf of the community.

So, what factors in the upcoming primary elections make Terry and Tiffany key candidates for the improvement of Haywood County and its residents? They are community orientated individuals who will directly address:

Ø  Unaffordable housing

Ø  Deterioration or lack of critical infrastructure

Ø  Unemployment rate forcing county residents to commute to Asheville

Ø  Lack of Career and job opportunities for high school graduates

Ø  Out-of-control development throughout Haywood County

Ø  Outsourcing of the county’s Community and Economic Development initiatives

Sweeping changes to the Haywood County Board of Commissioners are urgently needed to address the above issues adequately. Required but not being adequately addressed by the current makeup of the Board of Commissioners, because, in my opinion, doing so would not be in their own personal best interest.

Terry Ramey and Tiffany Collins are the only two candidates with the strength and courage to challenge decisions that do not reflect the values of Christian conservative residents of Haywood County or that are not in accordance with the will of the residents. These two candidates are ready to work for the people of Haywood County to change the dynamics of how Haywood County is governed.
