I hope you all weathered the storm without to much damage, although I am sure that there are some of you who were hit hard. Our hearts and prayers go out to you!
You probably get tired of receiving my posts and emails about Haywood County Registered Republican's willingness to step up and serve as a Poll Observer. However, we are having a crisis due to lack of volunteers to observe on election day, November 5th, at the 29 Precinct voting sites. Of the 87 shifts needing coverage only 28 have been covered. This means we need 59 more patriots to step up and volunteer.
I continue to reach out to you in that hopes that some of you will see the urgency in having Republican eyes and ears at every voting site on election day to ensure fair and honest elections.
As you may know, NC is a swing state, making it a must win to win the White House. A NC State Democrat Party official recently visited the Waynesville area and was interviewed by Mountaineer News. In that interview, this official made it clear that they intend to commit whatever resource is necessary to flip NC. For this reason, we need people such as yourself at the voting sites as our eyes and ears to ensure election integrity at every Precinct.
Without your help, this cannot be assured. Just knowing that you are there watching them is enough to ensure that poll workers follow voting laws and requirements.
I realize you have busy schedules, but I implore you to please show your patriotism by stepping up for this vital election integrity function. Our Constitutional Republic needs you now more than ever before.
I have attached the latest updated schedule of Poll Observers at the 29 Precinct voting sites. Those shifts still needing an Observer are identified by "OBSERVER NEEDED." Identify a location and time shift you are willing to cover and then send that information to me at cossettele@gmail.com for scheduling
Once scheduled, you need to complete a mandatory one-hour poll observer training, which is done via computer ZOOM in the comfort of your home. I will provide you the available days and times for Zoom training sessions. This training will provide you with all the necessary information need to know to be an effective Observer and to make you feel comfortable as a poll observer.
