Between a rock and a hard place. That’s where Vice President Kamala Harris now finds herself. A place that hopefully well be a career-ending contradiction.
As the heir apparent Democratic presidential candidate, Harris and her Party desperately hope to stop former President Donald Trump from returning to power. However, two claims are pulling her apart. Democrats are trying to tell us that Kamala Harris was never the Border Czar… but then six of her fellow Democrat Representatives acknowledged that she sucks at being the Czar.
Harris has not only come under fire from Republicans but fellow Democrats as well for her “failure to secure the United States border” as “Border Czar. That language comes from a Republican bill, House Resolution 1371, which passed the House of Representatives Thursday morning, 220-196. Six of her fellow Democrats voted for the measure, denouncing their presidential candidate as a border failure.
Now, Harris is attempting to distance herself from the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous border record. However, Harris, who has never been popular with voters or even her own paid staff — has come under fire from fellow Democrats for her “failure to secure the United States border” as “Border Czar.” Yes, Border Czar, and this critical position assigned to her is well documented in numerous media outlets, news reports, and by Biden himself.
History the bipartisan condemnation of her ongoing period as Border Czar won’t let her.
The resolution reminds us that Kamala Harris waited 93 days before making a brief visit to the southern border at El Paso, hundreds of miles away from the epicenter of the illegal alien crisis. Even the left-wing website The Daily Beast dragged Harris, saying, “Kamala Harris Finally Visits the Border – 800 Miles From Where the Action is.”
United States Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz has testified that he had “never had one conversation” with Kamala Harris, as did Jason Owens, who succeeded Ortiz as the nation’s top border cop.
Well, actually, Kamala Harris is America’s top border cop and the most important border enforcement officer.
The results are apparent. A record-breaking 9.7 million illegal immigrant encounters in the United States—including 7.9 million at the southern border. That doesn’t consider the fact that “since Joe Biden and Kamala Harris took office, there have been roughly 2 million known gotaways who evaded the United States Border Patrol,” says the resolution. That’s “more known gotaways than in the previous decade combined.”
No wonder Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party—including its media propaganda arm want to forget her leading role in opening America’s borders.
