Today, staying informed and engaged is more important than ever. "The Informed Citizen" is here to help local Christian Conservative Republicans connect through our exclusive monthly forums. Our mission is clear: to equip Haywood County Christian Conservative Republican citizens with the knowledge needed to hold elected officials accountable and make informed choices during elections. “The Informed Citizen” is a rebirth of the Haywood County Concerned Citizens group, which met every month at the Butter Biscuit Restaurant and later at the Waynesville Recreation Center.

My name is LeRoy (Le) Cossette, and I am inviting you to join our important effort to increase civic engagement in our community.

However, because of disruptive individuals linked to the socialist Democrat Party who infiltrated our meetings and held protests at our previous sites to intimidate our guests, we are holding our "The Informed Citizen" Forums on a “BY INVITATION ONLY” basis. Only INVITED guests will receive the date, time, and location of our Forums.

If you would like to be one of the INVITED guests, please respond to this post with your name and address. I will use that information to check the Haywood County Board of Elections’ Voter Registration Roster to confirm that you are indeed a Registered Republican in Haywood County. Once I have confirmed that you are a Registered Republican, your name and email address will be added to "The Informed Citizen" roster of INVITED guests, and you will receive the date, time, and location of our Forums. Our first "The Informed Citizen" Forum will be held in three weeks, so please let me know ASAP.

The Purpose of "The Informed Citizen"

"The Informed Citizen" unites a group of dedicated patriotic Christian conservatives who value being knowledgeable about civic and political issues. We aim to foster a supportive environment where people can openly discuss urgent topics, share insights, and learn from experts across different fields.

This forum is inspired by the Haywood County Concerned Citizens group, which used to meet monthly at the Butter Biscuit Restaurant and later at the Haywood County Rec Center. We aim to build on this foundation and foster constructive dialogue and engagement.

We also want to invite those already attending the Haywood County Republican Party Town Halls to deepen their understanding by participating in "The Informed Citizen" Forums.
