Haywood County Christian Conservative Republican Forums

My name is LeRoy (Le) Cossette, the publisher of “The Informed Citizen.”

“The Informed Citizen” is not just a blog site but also a group that will hold monthly forums at a Waynesville location for like-minded Christian Conservative Republicans to meet, share concerns and information, and hear subject matter experts speak about the issues and problems that matter most to Haywood County residents.

This group is a rebirth of the Haywood County Concerned Citizens, which met monthly at the Butter Biscuit Restaurant; however, due to intimidation by individuals linked to the socialist Democrat Party, many from Asheville, against the restaurant and its owner and manager, those monthly forums had to be discontinued. They were subsequently held for a brief period at the Waynesville Recreation Center, but, for the same reasons, were discontinued again.

Now, the Haywood County Concerned Citizens has been rebranded as “The Informed Citizen,” and a meeting location has been found that is inaccessible to these disruptive individuals because it is protected private property.

But to prevent socialist Democrat Party radicals from infiltrating our Forums, "The Informed Citizen" Forums will be held on a “BY INVITATION ONLY” basis. Only INVITED guests will receive the date, time, and location of our Forums.

If you wish to attend these very informative Forums as an INVITED guest, please respond to this post with your name, address, and request. I will use that information to check the Haywood County Board of Elections’ Voter Registration Roster to confirm that you are indeed a Registered Republican in Haywood County.

Once I have confirmed that you are a Registered Republican, your name and email address will be added to my "The Informed Citizen" roster of vetted guests, and you will begin to receive the date, time, and location of our Forums. Our first "The Informed Citizen" Forum will be held in early September, so please let me know ASAP.
