When people can earn a decent wage, it not only provides them with the opportunity to afford essentials such as housing and necessities but also allows them to achieve a higher standard of living. It also enables their dollars to circulate locally, generating secondary spending that supports the essential services our community relies on, such as generating more local tax revenue, which helps fund public services, infrastructure, schools, and community programs, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for everyone.

When we have a thriving local economy right here, it also encourages and attracts the development of new businesses for our residents because business will want to come here, therefore affording more jobs to our residents, granting them the tools needed to take care of their families, a higher standard of living, and overall an increased morale here in Haywood County, as well as initiating further cycles of growth."
