Governors Stein, Is NC Red, Blue, or Muslim?

Socialist Democrat (Muslim?) Governor Josh Stein has just issued a proclamation to all North Carolina residents to "commend" (i.e., praise) the observance of "Ramadan," which is a period of celebration of the revelation and teachings of the Quran. The last paragraph of the proclamation reads:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSH STEIN, Governor of the State of North Carolina, do hereby proclaim February 17 - March 19, 2026, as "RAMADAN" in North Carolina, and commend its observation to all residents.

The Quran, which is the religious bases of Islam, is the writings of the Prophet Muhammad containing what Islamic Muslims believe to be the revelations God made to him which provides moral and spiritual guidelines for all Islamic Muslims.

The legal frame work derived from the Quran is referred to as Sharia Law and failure to adhere to Sharia Law is considered a "crime against God" and punishable by torture or death. Sharia Law is also the source that radical Muslims use to justify their terrorist acts against all non-believers, in particular the citizens of Israel and the U.S.

Further:

• Sharia law requires all Islamic Muslims to dedicate their lives to the conversion of all people to Islam by any means necessary, including the torturing and murdering of any non-believer who refuses to convert.

• Under Sharia law, the lives of women are marked by systemic oppression, restrictions on personal freedoms, denial of basic human rights, and requires them to be submissive to the demands of men.

• Sharia law permits child marriage, allowing adult men to marry girls as young as 9.

• Sharia law calls for the execution of any man who is found to be homosexual because homosexuality is a crime against God.

• To Islamic Muslims, Sharia Law supersedes the American Constitution and our laws.

So, Socialist-Democrat (Muslim?) Governor Josh Stein has issued a Proclamation directing all residents of North Carolina, who are overwhelmingly Christian, to show praise to the religious beliefs of a people who seek our destruction. The Islamic Muslim's Quran demands strict adherence to Sharia Law, and does not recognize Christianity or the laws of North Carolina and the United States. To do otherwise is a "crime against God."

And while we're talking about recognizing and celebrating the religious beliefs of the Muslims, where is Governor Stein's Proclamation establishing a month long period during which North Carolina residents "commend" the religious beliefs of Catholics, Baptists, Protestants, etc.?

Nowhere, because Christianity does not have the same level of relevance to Governor Stein as Islam.

So what is Governor Stein agenda here? In my opinion this Proclamation is purely political not to be outdone by the governors of Minnesota and New York and for the purpose of gaining their votes.
