Republican Candidates & Voting Locations

Elected officials hold a critical responsibility: ensure the safety and well-being of their constituents while governing in accordance with the will of the people. This duty applies to every office, from the Board of Commissioners and County Sheriff to the Tax Collector, Register of Deeds, State Representative, and U.S. Representative.

Elected socialist Democrats consistently fail to protect law-abiding residents or to govern in line with community values and consent. This failure has real consequences for the county’s safety, economy, and quality of life. Choosing candidates who can win in the 2026 midterms and who prioritize public safety and community interests is paramoun.

The Haywood County Republican Party has several candidates running in the primaries, which end on March 3rd. That only gives you three more days to vote.

U.S. House of Representatives for District 11: Chuck Edwards and Adam Smith.
