In American politics, few issues spark more passion than election integrity. In recent years, mail-in voting has become a significant topic, especially during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, which the Democrat Party used to justify a substantial increase in mail-in ballots in order to win elections. Initially created to help overseas voters and those with disabilities, the move toward wide use of mail-in voting raises grave concerns about potential fraud and the future of elections in the United States.

As discussions intensify, the White House's proposals to eliminate mail-in voting and voting machines are being met with enthusiastic support. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has clarified the Trump administration’s goal: not only to simplify the voting process but also to safeguard against any cheating.
Expansion of Mail-in Voting

As previously stated, mail-in voting was initially designed for military personnel and people with disabilities. However, the socialist-Democrat Party, utilizing fear of the pandemic, significantly changed all this. For example, in 2020 alone, more than 70 million Americans voted by mail, making up about 40% of all ballots cast that year.

This expansion raises serious concerns, especially when many voters received multiple ballots. Moreover, ballots were sent to the wrong addresses, which heightens worries about the integrity of the voting process.
The Administration's Response
In light of these concerns, the Trump administration has taken a firm stance against mail-in voting. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt asserted that removing mail-in voting and voting machines is essential for restoring confidence in elections. By supporting this change, the administration aims to ensure that every vote cast is legitimate.

Leavitt emphasizes that Republicans want to prevent cheating during our elections. The administration believes that removing mail-in voting will strengthen the electoral system and address the worries expressed by many voters. This approach has resonated with people who feel uncertain about election security and a lack of oversight, which has led to fraud, as evidenced by multiple reports of irregularities.
Ensuring Democratic Values

Every vote holds significance in a representative republic, and verifying the legitimacy of those votes is essential.
With the 2026 midterm elections nearing, the importance of election security is high. The call for quick action is urgent, as the future of our Republic relies on it. Moving forward requires teamwork to develop measures that safeguard election integrity.
