Recently, a heart-wrenching story shared on Facebook was sent to me by a good friend, which caught my attention: a family working tirelessly to make ends meet. With both parents juggling multiple jobs to support their three children, their situation reflects a reality faced by many hardworking families today. Sadly, their struggles highlight the pressures that families face across our nation, especially in places vulnerable to radical ideological issues and changing cultural norms.
The founders of our nation likely did not envision the “weak, fractured, and hollow” state that many families find themselves in today. This decline is especially noticeable in cities with socialist policies, like Asheville, located just a short drive from Haywood County. This rise of radical agendas threatens the foundation of our families, aiming to disrupt the heart and soul of our deeply rooted Christian conservative community.
Under President Donald Trump, significant changes are underway to improve the lives of average American families and help them achieve the American dream. Still, despite his tireless efforts to address these pressing issues, it will be months, if not years, before the historical changes he has implemented to address the carnage created by the Biden-Harris Administration are felt by many families.
The Infiltration of Radical Ideologies
As we observe the growing number of protests in downtown Waynesville, it becomes evident that these radical ideologies are increasingly infiltrating our community. What may appear as mere dissent is, in fact, a deliberate attempt to challenge the traditional values that have guided our society for generations.
For instance, data from a local survey revealed that around 40% of residents feel that their family values are under direct threat from these movements. The cultural hostility directed towards marriage and family life has led many families to feel left behind from attaining the American dream. Recent reports show that only 56% of American families believe they will improve their circumstances over the next decade—a stark contrast to past generations that felt more secure in their prospects.
The Erosion of Values and Heritage
In recent years, we have witnessed a disturbing trend where our belief in God, our cultural heritage, and our values are being challenged. Those who dare to oppose these radical socialists often face backlash for simply voicing their concerns, which creates a fear that can silence essential conversations about the issues impacting our community and families.
We must critically examine whether the policies enacted by our county and city governments genuinely support the well-being of Haywood County residents. Are they fostering the values necessary for safe, thriving communities? If not, it is up to us, as Christian conservatives, to advocate for change and protect our family structures from further decline.
The Call to Action
Taking action to safeguard our community is essential. Our nation's founders envisioned a system where ordinary citizens could influence government. It is the responsibility of Christian conservatives in Haywood County to engage actively in this process. We must vote out representatives who promote radical ideologies and replace them with leaders who value integrity and will champion our beliefs.
This is more than just a political struggle; it is fundamentally about preserving the soul of our community. Together, we must ensure our families can flourish in an environment that respects our values. The future of Haywood County relies on our commitment to standing up for what is right.

It is our duty to safeguard the values that have sustained our community over generations. The systemic attack on the American Dream, most forcibly during the Obama/Biden years, will have an effect on America that will take decades to correct. In the meantime, American families will be struggling with economic hardships until significant jobs can be created, jobs that were given away by Nafda and other government policies that weakened America. Federal Government intervention in our education system caused a dumbimg down effect to widen the gap in the American workforce.
