Terry Ramey was the only county commissioner present who took the time to join the Charlie Kirk Freedom Ride to honor Kirk’s legacy.

It was further concerning that NC House District 118 Republican Representative Mark Pless, who represents Haywood County, was also absent from this important event. Additionally, Vice Chair Vickie Reece and Treasurer Kim Genova of the Haywood County Republican Party did not attend, despite receiving invitations to join their fellow Republican constituents.
