Where Is The Common Sense?
Et Tu SCOTUS?

Common sense is often described as the ability to make sound judgments based on practical, everyday reasoning. In the context of governance, it means creating policies and laws that reflect the needs and values of the people. Yet, many Americans feel that the Democratic Party, especially its socialist-leaning wing, frequently ignores this basic principle. This perception has fueled frustration with the country's direction, particularly regarding legislative initiatives and governance in Democrat-led states and cities.
Common sense in government means policies that are straightforward, effective, and aligned with the public’s interests. It involves:
Protecting national security
Ensuring fair and transparent elections
Managing public resources responsibly
Supporting law and order
Promoting economic growth and opportunity
When these common-sense principles guide decision-making, citizens tend to feel their government works for them rather than against them.
Several recent actions by Democratic leaders have raised questions about their commitment to common-sense governance. For instance:
Closing parts of the Department of Homeland Security to halt deportations of violent criminal illegal aliens. This move threatens the public safety of American citizens and the rule of law.
Opposing the SAVE Act, which would require common-sense proof of citizenship to register to vote and a photo ID to cast a ballot.
Restrictions and laws that complicate everyday life without clear, common-sense benefits for every legal American citizen, such as excessive regulations and policies that lack any common sense, that stifle business growth, or increase crime rates.
These examples highlight a pattern where policies appear disconnected from practical outcomes or the will of the people. A lack of simple common sense on the part of our elected officials.
Understanding why some Democratic leaders pursue these policies requires looking at their broader goals and political strategies:
Ideological Commitment: Democrats for the most part prioritize socialist or Marxist ideals, aiming to reshape society in ways that conflict with traditional American values.
Political Calculations: Democrat-induced policies that serve to consolidate political power or appeal specifically to their voter bases.
Disconnect from Constituents: Democrat leadership that is out of touch with the everyday concerns of ordinary citizens, focusing instead on abstract theories or special interests. No common sense here!
This combination leads to decisions that many Americans find lacking in common sense.
The question arises: why do some voters continue to support policies and leaders that seem to reject common sense? Several factors contribute:
Information Silos: Voters receive information that filters out common sense by left-leaning partisan media, limiting exposure to common-sense alternative viewpoints.
Identity Politics: Loyalty to party or ideology outweighs practical, common-sense conservative considerations.
Economic and Social Factors: Voters who believe that these senseless policies will ultimately benefit them or address systemic inequalities, even when common sense clearly indicates otherwise.
Unfortunately, this all means that common sense is not the deciding factor in elections or policy support when associated with socialist democrats.
The absence of common sense in governance has tangible effects:
Public Safety Concerns: Socialist Democrat policies that reduce enforcement or complicate deportation, leading to an increase in crime rates and eroding trust in law enforcement. No common sense here!
Election Integrity Doubts: Socialist Democrat resistance to proof of citizenship and voter ID laws to ensure the fairness of elections. No common sense here!
Economic Challenges: Socialist Democrats' overregulation and unclear policies that hinder business development and job creation. No common sense here!
Social Division: Socialist Democrats' confusing or contradictory policies that deepen political polarization and social unrest. No common sense here!
These outcomes affect everyday Americans and the country’s future stability, showing a total lack of common sense to avoid such negative outcomes.
Restoring common sense in governance requires action from both leaders and citizens:
Leaders must prioritize clear, practical policies that address real problems and reflect the public’s will. This makes good common sense. Am I not right?
Voters need access to balanced information and should critically evaluate policies beyond what they read or hear from left-leaning news and social media. This makes good common sense. Am I not right?
Community engagement, which bridges the gap between policymakers and constituents. This makes good common sense. Am I not right?
Accountability mechanisms that ensure that our elected officials serve the public interest, not ideological agendas. Again, this makes good common sense. Am I not right? Actually, I know I am right
By focusing on simple common sense, our elected officials can take steps that will propel the United States towards governance that truly works for its people.
