TAXPAYERS FUNDING IVY LEAGUE UNIVERSITY PROTESTS

Students across several Ivy League universities have been actively participating in protests related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.


Columbia University, New York University (NYU), Yale University, University of Michigan, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt, Johns Hopkins University, University of Washington are permitting campus radicals to occupy their schools, harass and commit acts of hate against Jewish students, and shut down classes. Yet:


  • Columbia University receives almost half a billion dollars in taxpayer money every year;

  • New York University (NYU) receives approximately $400 thousand dollars every year;

  • Yale University receives a little over $1 billion dollars every year;

  • University of Michigan receives well over $1 billion dollars every year;

  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) receives $860 million dollars every year;

  • Johns Hopkins University receives approximately $2 billion per year;

  • University of Washington receives $960.6 million per year of federal funds.


Other schools that receive federal funding are also letting radicals take control. These radicals are “getting away with this disruption because cowardly administrators are catering to them, and they’re doing that because these are entitled rich kids whose families don’t want any trouble from the university.


It’s time to stop forgiving student loans, defund these rich universities, and stand up to these spoiled bullies on campus,
