Just a reminder that the Haywood County Republican Party will be holding its first Town Hall meeting Thursday, March 13th at 6:30 PM at the Haywood County GOP office, 297 N Haywood Street in Waynesville.
Our guest speaker is Kevin Ensley, Chair of the Haywood County Board of Commissioners. Brandon Rogers, the Vice Chair, may also be there to interact with attendees.
This Town Hall meeting is your opportunity to interact with Haywood County Officers, the guest speaker, and with one another to exchange information. Attendees will also be able to ask questions, voice concerns, and provide feedback on relevant issues to them.
Please keep in mind that interactions with our guest speakers are expected to be done with respect and courtesy. These Town Hall meetings are not debates or opportunities for individuals to verbally criticize our guest speakers to unload personal frustrations.
It is to be expected that a guest speaker's position on issues will not meet the expectations of everyone in attendance. With this in mind, please do not turn the meeting into a confrontation.
Ask your questions respectfully. If the speaker's responses are not satisfactory, talk to them after the meeting has adjourned or schedule a meeting with them to have that kind of conversation.
