In the heart of Haywood County, city residents and businesses face growing challenges from regulations, high taxes, and critical community issues. Many feel ignored and believe their opinions have little impact on city governance. However, as taxpayers and voters, residents hold a vital power: the ability to cast their votes.

It's time to activate that power by participating in the upcoming November municipal elections to create meaningful change. It is time to unseat the Socialist-Democrats who have been prioritizing increasing tax revenue, woke ideologies, and personal enrichment while ignoring the problems that diminish the quality of life of Haywood County city residents.
Your Voting Power
Voting is the foundation of our governance. With each election, the leaders you choose make decisions that affect your business, community culture, education system, healthcare access, and overall quality of life and freedoms.

Sadly, many registered Republican voters in Haywood County have become complacent, allowing Socialist-Democrats or Republicans In Name Only (RINOs) to be repeatedly reelected or elected due to their failure to research candidates' political history or to invest the time to go to their polling sites and make their voices heard. When you don’t vote, you essentially support the status quo, which, under Socialist-Democrat leadership, leads to issues addressed in this post and poor governance.
Haywood County city residents are frustrated by rising property taxes, complex city business regulations, and city-imposed restrictions that undermine business growth. Haywood County city residents are increasingly struggling with homeless individuals wandering our streets, causing residents and tourists alike to feel unsafe, drug addiction issues on school property, and behind business buildings. Problems that are gradually spreading into our county towns from Asheville.

These challenges are directly linked to decisions made by Socialist-Democrat and RINO politicians whom you have deliberately chosen not to oppose at the ballot box or by attending city Assembly and the various county board meetings to voice your concerns.
Impact of Poor Governance

The consequences of ineffective governance extend beyond personal frustration. Inadequate city planning and unrestrained housing growth put pressure on outdated infrastructure. Currently, Haywood County's cities are experiencing an overwhelming surge in new development, while critical services such as clean water and sewage systems struggle to meet the increasing demand.
Despite the urgency of these issues, many Republican residents remain silent. It requires little effort to research candidates and their platforms before casting a vote. Spending just a few hours learning about local politics can strengthen your community, promote real change, and enhance your quality of life.
From Apathy to Action

Apathy among registered Republican voters poses the major obstacle. Many care about their communities but view voting as a chore or as having no consequences. However, the consequences of inaction are severe, as evidenced by the ongoing struggles of Hurricane Helen victims and the challenges of their recovery efforts.
Furthermore, these elected officials frequently make inappropriate and costly decisions in response to these issues. We must question why we accept leaders who do not or cannot address these urgent issues with common sense and the least expensive solutions. As a result, residents believe local officials do not respond to the community's needs in a manner that is in the best interest of the county and city residents.

By neglecting the electoral process, Republican residents essentially allow these Socialist-Democrat-RINO-created failures to persist. The visible struggles of our community, such as the increasing number of homeless people, highlight the need for better leadership. Leadership from strong constitutional conservative Republicans.
Infrastructure Issues

The challenge isn’t just about the number of homes; it's about thoughtful growth. The infrastructure in Haywood County and its cities cannot keep up with demand. Current sitting Socialist-Democrat and RINO officials continue to approve building permits, risking community stability and sustainability. Their priority is not the county and city residents they represent, but rather an obsession with prioritizing tax revenue over quality of life.
Residents should support leaders who prioritize sensible growth and development. Planning must be a key element of any development strategy. An informed electorate can encourage policies that focus on long-term community benefits.
Tackling Community Challenges

Haywood County and its cities face numerous challenges, and strong leadership is essential. Strong constitutional conservative Republicans must be recruited who are willing to step up and tackle these issues by running for office in county and city elections. Community involvement must go beyond casual talk; real action is needed at the voting booths. We can’t just discuss homelessness, drug problems, and infrastructure issues; we need accountability of our elected officials by the Haywood County Republican Party and all Republican voters within Haywood County.
Learning about these problems and how the right candidates can solve them is crucial. Participation must involve volunteering with the Haywood County Republican Party, engaging in local discussions, helping promote informational campaigns, and collaborating with local organizations to motivate those around us. Every resident must feel empowered in their role as a consumer and a citizen.
Igniting Civic Participation

Imagine a Haywood County where Republican voters actively participate in elections, holding Socialist-Democratic and RINO officials accountable. This could be a place where both individual and business freedoms thrive, where growth is sustainable, and where every person feels secure and valued.
To turn this into reality, Republican voters must reignite their passion for civic duty. Research local candidates, attend town hall meetings, and participate in community initiatives. By sharing essential conversations and inspiring others, you can help generate momentum for Republican candidates who reflect the values and needs of Haywood County and its cities.
Moving Forward Together

Haywood County and the cities therein face a crucial moment. As elections approach, serious consideration of participation and making informed choices this November will influence the future of Haywood County's communities. These decisions should focus on responsible governance, sustainable growth, and compassionate leadership.
Now is the time for Haywood County Republican city residents to reclaim their cities. Empower yourself by becoming informed, participating in community discussions, building connections with others who share your values, and, most importantly, making your vote count. Together, we can inspire change that benefits our community and ensures every resident has the opportunity to prosper.
Let us take action and make sure our voices are heard. Haywood County cities deserve our steadfast commitment!

In 2025 and 2026 the citizens of Haywood County, and the towns therein, have the opportunity to send a loud and clear message to those Socialist Democrats and RINO's currently holding office that our property are not theirs to tax as they wish. Also, that taxpayer funded programs and projects should never be used to enrich any of them personaly! A forensic audit should be done to determine if this has been the case in the past. Not just cash in the bank, but land holdings, and services in kind also. An audit that not just checks on the office holders, but the members of their families also. Former President Biden has shown us exactly how to structure such corruption..........and…
