The House of Representatives has just voted to not impeach Alejandro Mayorkas.
Eight House Republicans voted against a resolution aimed at impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. The resolution, initially introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), accused Mayorkas of “willful admittance of border crossers” and violating the Secure Fence Act.
The House chamber decided to shelve the resolution in a 209-201 vote, referring it to the Homeland Security Committee instead. Here are the eight House Republicans who voted against Greene’s resolution:
Rep. Patrick McHenry (N.C.)
Rep. Tom McClintock (Calif.)
Rep. John Duarte (Calif.)
Rep. Virginia Foxx (N.C.)
Rep. Darrell Issa (Calif.)
Rep. Cliff Bentz (Ore.)
Rep. Ken Buck (Colo.)
