A Call for Conservative Leadership

In Haywood County, a crucial moment is approaching as elections for city aldermen in Waynesville, Canton, Clyde, and Maggie Valley get closer. This is more than just a vote; it’s a chance to influence the future of our communities. The growing influence of socialist-communist ideologies is palpable. It is affecting our traditional constitutional freedom way of life, and the signs are clear: higher crime rates, rising drug problems, and an increasing homeless population. It’s time to come together and select strong, anti-socialist, anti-communist Christian conservatives who respect the Constitution and its core principles.

The Dangers of Socialist Governance

The expansion of social programs under the current socialist-communist leadership in Haywood County communities has caused serious issues. While these programs are often well-meaning, they frequently fail due to fraud, abuse, and socialist-Democrat mismanagement. In the end, taxpayers grow frustrated when they see their hard-earned money being handed out so freely by elected officials, not out of charity, but solely to secure re-election.

Taxpayers are shouldering the costs of these welfare programs. This results in higher taxes; a recent survey revealed Haywood County residents facing continually rising property taxes. Instead of benefiting from capitalism—such as individual initiative and self-reliance—we observe government intervention that frequently exceeds its limits and stifles entrepreneurship.

Another example of our local socialist-communist politicians' abuse of power is their constant approval of ever-increasing building permits. This leads to the overdevelopment of our Haywood County communities and the loss of our unique small-town atmosphere. This overdevelopment is evident in the numerous housing projects that exceed the capacity of our infrastructure, strain local services, medical facilities, and schools, and cause significant traffic problems. All done to increase tax revenue, but not in the best interest of the existing residents.

The Role of Individual Responsibility

A thriving community depends on the idea that people are responsible for their lives and families. It shouldn't be the government's job, through taxpayer dollars, to meet individuals' every need. For example, efforts by local churches and nonprofits have proven to be much more effective than state-run programs. These groups understand the specific challenges in our community and address them directly.

When citizens take charge of their circumstances, they foster self-reliance and resilience. This principle is essential for building a sustainable community. We must support conservative Republican leaders like Julia Freeman, Landen Stevenson, Adam Hatton, and Cory Nuckolls, who understand this truth and will focus on creating an environment where people can succeed through their own efforts instead of relying on government assistance.

Prioritizing Safety and Community Well-Being

Public safety is crucial for any community. Unfortunately, crime rates have increased in our county cities over the past year, with drug-related offenses constituting the majority. The current governance structure has failed to address these issues effectively. We need strong Christian conservative Republican leaders who will prioritize safety policies and actively support law enforcement efforts.

Programs that emphasize prevention, such as after-school activities for youth and community patrols, have shown promise in lowering crime. We need strong Christian conservative Republican leaders who not only support these efforts but are also willing to fund and endorse them.

Let’s unite to remove policies that limit personal and business growth. We have the opportunity to create a future that respects individual rights, values personal responsibility, and promotes community safety.

The Vision for a Prosperous Haywood County

Picture a Haywood County where each citizen feels empowered to secure their future, and businesses flourish without excessive regulations. Safe neighborhoods are not merely a dream; they can become a reality with the right leadership.

We need Christian conservative Republican leaders like Julia Freeman, Landen Stevenson, Adam Hatton, and Cory Nuckolls who understand that government should take a back seat to community-driven efforts for welfare. Promoting philanthropy and community support is a more effective solution than government mandates, as shown by local programs that thrived during tough economic times.

Making an Informed Choice

As the elections draw near, every resident of Haywood County must understand the importance of their vote. We must come together to support Julia Freeman, Landen Stevenson, Adam Hatton, and Cory Nuckolls, who honor the Constitution, champion personal responsibility, and seek to build a safe and thriving community with common-sense solutions.

The overall health of our Haywood County cities is in our hands. Let's commit to making informed choices at the ballot box that restore freedom and prosperity for our communities. Change is coming, and it begins with us.
